Pampered Pet Lodge is always busy over the holidays, so we have certain holiday reservation changes you should be aware of. The following information outlines our changes in Public Hours and Policies for Holiday Reservations.
*New Years Day (Closed to Public)
*Good Friday 8-11:00 Am ONLY (Minimum 2 day booking for Easter)
*Easter Monday 9-11:00 Am ONLY
*Victoria Day 9-11:00 Am ONLY (Minimum 2 Day Booking for weekend)
*Canada Day (Minimum 2 day booking for weekend, Monday 9-11:00 Am ONLY)
*Civic Holiday (Minimum 2 day booking for weekend, Monday 9-11:00 Am ONLY)
*Labour Day (Minimum 2 day booking for weekend, Monday 9-11:00 Am ONLY)
*Thanksgiving Day (Minimum 2 day booking for weekend, Monday 9-11:00 Am ONLY)

Christmas is always a busy season for everyone!
During the last few years we have struggled to try and provide accommodation for our many clienteles who like to lodge with us during the Christmas Holidays and March Break. We catered to old and new clients and have had to hire additional seasonal staff for the past years to accommodate the number of pets we care for. Although we have regular seasonal workers that have stayed with us for many years and are considered staff , I prefer for the sake of the pets to have the same solid core staff working with them and not hiring additional temporary help for the holidays. I feel this decision benefits the pets in many ways, by keeping our service at its highest level with knowledgeable staff.
The increasing number of pets we have coming and going during the short span of holidays, results in the following work load differences dramatically; preparing the pets accommodations with sanitization procedures, ensuring the healthy safe environment, completing the many pet packages requested, completing individualized meal plans and medications, add in the additional baths, let outs and laundry needed to run the facility with care of the pets being our utmost priority…and you may not be surprised to learn… we have decided to make changes that will only make your pet’s stay at Pampered Pet Lodge over the holidays that much more enjoyable.
Our changes, available to read in our Christmas Outline, allow us to keep stress levels at the lodge lower due to a much more controlled atmosphere over the holidays, the outline allows staff to have more time to care individually with each and every pet since they are spending less time checking pets in and out, returning phone calls while accommodating changes in reservations or sanitizing lodging accommodations for the pets arrivals or departures. Schedules of the pets staying with us remain our priority and having fewer pets allows for more specialized care per pet. Our Christmas Contract enables Pampered Pet Lodge to continue to provide the high quality of service we have always been well known for.
I appreciate your understanding of the contract and rates for the Christmas Booking. Please be aware that Pampered Pet Lodge will only be accepting a minimal number of bookings for the holidays. This again ensures the quality of pet care is given the utmost priority.
